United Way of the Coalfield hosts an awards ceremony each March to thank and recognize the many individuals, corporations, businesses and organizations that contribute to our annual campaign as well as the many volunteers that work to make our campaign successful.
On March 28, 2017 the Awards Ceremony for our 2016-17 campaign was held. Thirty-nine businesses and organizations recevied Employee Campaign Awards and fifty individuals acheived Pillar Society Leadership Givers status. Additionally, two new awards were presented this year. The 1st annual Community Award was presented to Hopkins County Schools for 100% campaign participation from each school and the 1st annual United Award was presented to Danette Emery for her service to the campaign.
United Way of the Coalfield thanks everyone who gave to our 2016-17 campaign. With your support, United Way of the Coalfield is able to provide funding to our community partner agencies.
